With nearly a decade of seasoned leadership managing greenhouse growth, John brings a wealth of experience to the forefront.
John led growth operations at the UK's Global Berry Ltd. from January 2015 to March 2023, overseeing operations across three sites with 18 hectares of glasshouses dedicated to strawberry cultivation for the UK retail market. With expertise in project management, KPI setting, and procurement, John supervised a team overseeing site operations, audits, and cultivation.
Under John's leadership, the business thrived, employing 150 workers and achieving an annual turnover of £8 million at its peak. His in-depth knowledge of greenhouse processes played a crucial role in optimizing crop conditions.
